Every chocolate lover knows KitKat. That crispy chocolate waffle stamped with the name KitKat and quite noticeably in it’s bright red wrapper. And the best thing about a KitKat; it’s easy to share so no fights (over Christmas) with your friends, family or lover. Well I hope I have your attention because the KitKat Chocolatory gives you the option to make your own wonderful chocolate creation. And the best thing: Deliveroo delivers your own customized bars straight to your home. Perfect with this snowy weather!

Costs: 4,50 per customized bar. Location: Utrecht Central Station

December is all about St. Nicholas, Christmas and of course giving and receiving gifts! Even though I really enjoy buying presents I must admit it can be a bit stressful sometimes. When you think you finally found what you were looking for it is out of stock… On the bright side; it’s time to get creative!

Chocolaty Christmas
When strolling around Utrecht Central a new store caught my eye. Moving closer the KitKat logo and red colours (hello Christmas vibe!) drew me. And behold, inside I saw many chocolate bars a.k.a. chocolate heaven! To top it of (pun intended) the friendly host told me I could design my own KitKat!

He didn’t have to tell me twice, but unfortunately I didn’t had time to make my own bar (you have to wait around +/- 30 minutes before it is ready). When I was home I kept on thinking about the store and then it hit me: I found the perfect Christmas present that everyone loves!

Chocolate brought to your house
Since I am in a very busy period with school and work, I didn’t have time to go back to the Chocolatory and wait for them to make my bars (I needed 8 of them). Lucky me; you can order your bar and Deliveroo brings them straight to your house. Ordering the bars was very simple and within an hour the deliverer got my Christmas presents ready. Santa can’t beat that 😉
