Everybody loves good food, but also likes to stay in shape, am I right? Therefore, FIG opened its doors in May. FIG is the place where you don’t have to worry about how many calories you are eating and when you you have to go to the gym nwxt. This food & gym bar is a real catch for Utrecht!

Playground for adults

When you enter FIG, it feels like a playground for adults. The interior is super stylish with sporty elements, like ropes, a box gloves, and a swing. Every day you can join one of the small group workouts FIG offers. The workouts are divided into three categories: Soulful, Playful and Powerful. Whatever workout you like, Fig has a workout for everybody. At FIG they believe in the quote: squads low, standards high!

Healthy food

FIG is all about the body. So it will not surprise you that FIG offers healthy food. It is also no problem to eat here if you are vegan. We had the Kimchi pancake, sweet potato fries and two healthy waffles with huttekäse, fruits, almonds, and pistachio. The Kimchi pancake was a real surprise for me, I loved the taste of it in combination with agave syrup and pomegranate. Of course, you can also order sweets at FIG, I recommend the key lime pie.  The food is healthy, but also delicious!

Pros:

  • Healthy, but good food
  • Stylish and playful interior
  • Small group workouts for everybody

Cons:

  • You cannot have a workout subscription at FIG
