My ultimate moment of happiness definitely includes food. And to make it even better: Italian food. Whenever I get the chance to eat pizza I am always on. That’s why I could have not been happier with an invitation of de Pizzabakkers to experience their new Tartufo Thursday. An evening which is all about truffle!
Everyone knows how delicious truffle oil or truffle mayonaise is, but nothing tops fresh truffle. Tartufo Thursday at de Pizzabakkers is all about eating this delicious good on typical Italian dishes. The first round comes with a carpaccio. The server came to our table and topped it of by scraping some off the truffle. Mamma mia! How delicious. The second round was a pizza. But not just your regular tomato sauce pizza, the pizza was kept very ‘clean’ with just some basic ingredients. This in order to secure the taste of the truffle. Tasting it yourself is of course way better than I could ever express in words, so move over to de Pizzabakkers on a Thursday night to try this out yourself. I promise you won’t regret!
